Day20: Manni Hero and Shvil finisher

We had a good sleep in the Nachal. Today was Bernhards birthday so we congratulated and sang birthday songs to him. As present he got a Shvil Tshirt from the team.
We went up to Yeroham NC which is very close to the Egyptian border. Unfortunately we didnt have enough water, I talked to a family at the car park. They immediately gave us a bottle of Water. Then a taxi driver arrived and I asked him if he has water. He bought water for other people, but they didnt need it, so he gave it to us. Amazing!
Then we started the hike towards Eilat - a great one - along the Egyptian border with great rock formations along the hike. It was a steep but enjoyyble descent.
We went from one amazing Nahal to the other.
The last ascend of the day up to Mt. Zehalot brought us up to a point were you could look into four countries - Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
The final kilometers I hiked on my own to finish the Shvil also in my mind, which was very valuable to me.
To reach Eilat and the Red Sea at the end of the Shvil is something special.
We were very hungry, so we bought some pita, hummus and beer in the supermarket. We enjoyed it a lot, then we went to the princess beach for a swim. Later we went to the Shelter hostel and relaxed with Falaffel and another finisher beer. We also prayed and blessed Bernhard on his birthday.
So now my Shvil is finished but coming to Israel and also hiking in Israel will go on and on... I already have plans for the next hike, next year in this wonderful country.
