Day 10: Lively Purim march, answered prayer and great nature

Sometimes there are days you already know in the morning, normally you can't do all things you want to do. You need some help from outside. Today was such a day.

After a very relaxing night in real beds, we had a nice breakfast with our hosts Tal and Dorith and their english friend Chris, a real globetrotter.
Then we went to the famous Purim march of Midreshet, normally 10.000 people are there, but because of Corona only a limited number of people was allowed.
We really loved this feast, the decorations and dances of the kids were so energetic and full of live. They created everything themselves, a really impressive show.
We said goodbye to Tal in his new tourist office in the center of Midreshet.

Before we left we sat together as Shvil team. We read Psalm 84 and prayed. Next to other things we prayed for a Jeep that would bring us from the entrance of the Natural reserve to Ein Akev a water pool with a constant water provision. Why did we pray like this, because we were lacking time, it was already midday and 27km of hiking were impossible for us until evening. So we went into the Park and just behind the entrance I stopped a Jeep. Ofek and Shoval were unbeliefably friendly. We put our backpacks on the roof of the car, and squeezed into the Jeep. We had a great conversation during the nearly 40 minutes ride. It was also Ofeks birthday and both of them expressed their gratitude how great it was to have us. But they really were this big blessing for us. As it was Ofeks birthday we prayed for him and blessed him and I invited this two wonderful people to visit us in our home.

The weather today was quite windy with some rain showers especially in the morning.
Now we had only 15km of our hike left since it was already afternoon, it was still challenging. The main place we hiked was the Zin valley. The desert is really in blossom now. Israel was really blessed with a lot of rain this winter.
We also crossed a real oasis in the desert Ein Shaviv. We had still some kilometers to go before it became dark, but we achieved it. So we set up our tents, had some nuddles and were greatful after an exciting and blessed day.

By the way Psalm 84 is my wifes and my wedding blessing verse:
Blessed our those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. As they pass through the valley of Baka, they make it a place of springs, the autumn rains also cover it with pools. They go from strength to strength , till each appears before God in Zion.
