Back in a Nightcamp. Gevanim Nightcamp is a very big one, I think one reason is that it is so easily reachable from Route 40.
After our breakfast we talked to Juri who camped here with his little kids and wife.
The first meters of the new day brought us already up to Mount Saronim with a spectacular view. We had to walk along the top of the hill for 1 to 2 kilometers, so the outviews were just gorgeous.
I can surely state the whole day hike was full of great spots.
The next highlight was the horseshow Canyon. Simon was using his drone very intensively. We got to know Nimrod and Guy his 13-year old son from Poleg who also had a drone and so we had open doors for conversation. Nimrods Grandfather was living in Germany and could flee in time to Israel as a 20 year old. We also met Yeal, Eldar and their daughter. Very open minded people from Kibbuz Carpi at the border to Lebanon. Their son who is at the army right now, wants to study in Berlin.
To my big surprise we had to hike a second Mount Karbolet which has also a structure of a cockcomb, we really enjoyed it a lot and had our lunch break on top of the mountain.
After 18km of intense hiking we reached Ein Holit Night camp. We set up everything. Ruben prepared a delicious Couscous for us with creative ingredients, so we could enjoy our meal. We all went to bed very, very early.
