We got up early. We hit the road at 7 a.m. and had only a short hike to the Timna park entrance. We used this great opportunity to wash ourselves properly before Eilat. Then we headed into Timna park. First we entered an interesting Canyon Nahal Arakhson which is Part of a geological trail of Timna. The Top is on 450m and offers a great View on the Timna valley. The Top is a plateau. On the way down, we met a lot, really a lot of Shvilists who started two days ago in Eilat.
People are very relaxed and always open for a chat.
We spent lunch in the visitor centre at the lake. Restaurant have to be closed because of Corona, but Israelis are creative and so we could order Pizza as take away. We also used the Time with Internet to book our flights home for next Week. Later in the afternoon we went shopping in Beer Ora a small newly built Kibbuz. In front of the Supermarket we had nice conversations with people. Like with Mayaan whos mother comes from Germany. She started here Shvil three days ago and doesnt know if she can proceed with her Shvil. I encouraged here.
When it became dark we reached Ratam Etek NC, we decided to sleep without tents to enjoy the sky full of stars.
Then we had to climb Mount Timna.
