Day 9: Hot day through the Zin valley to Medrilet Ben Gurion

After the strenuous hiking day yesterday, we got up a bit later. Two Israelis who were hiking just for two days in the region, invited me for a tea and gave us their gas bottle.
The big topic for us was the decision of the Israeli government to let no Germans into the country starting Friday morning 8 a.m.
Unfortunately our additional Shvil members have their flight tomorrow which will arrive too late in Israel. How do we find a solution for them?

Next to this we started hiking. Today was a very hot day in the desert.
We didn´t have too many ascends or descends just straight forward in the heat.
It was amazing to see plants covering under bushes to grow or flowers which grow at places were small rain streams used to flow.
In the afternoon we were close to our destination Medrilet Ben Gurion. We wanted hitchhike up to the village to stay overnight in Tals guesthouse.
We found a first car taking Christian and Bernhard, Simon and I waited and had our last tuna and bread. Finally a car stopped. Nevo and his girl-friend even changed their plans just to be able to take us up the hill to Medrilet which takes approximately 30 minutes. We had a very nice and funny conversation. They both study in Haifa and visit relatives here.  We expressed our gratitude and our friendship to Israel. They were really touched by this statement.

We made ourselves comfortable in Tals place, went shopping and had a Falafel, Tal invited us in his new Tourist office for a beer.
At the end of the day we heard about the great solution my wife found for the German Israel travellers. They booked a flight from Prag tonight which will bring them early enough to the Holy Land.
