Pre-Hiking for preperation

One week before we leave, we met for a test  hike in the nearby area in Fürth for a 10km hike in the forests.

Most of us packed their backpacks with all the stuff we would take to Israel. The weight varied between 14 and 22kg. We also wore our desert hiking clothes.
This all on a quite mild winter day in Frankonia with approximately 14 degrees celsius.
We had a lot of things to discuss and numberous questions were asked. How do we cook? What do we cook? Do we need a spade? What are the actual temperatures during the day and most important during night. Do we definately need a tent during night? When do we get up? When do we go to bed? Which soap do we use? Do we need a pan? Can each day one guy shower with the rest of the water...
